Simple but effective.
Water-soluble contaminants, for example mineral acid vapours can be efficiently removed from the fume cupboard extracted air with extracted air scrubbers. And it works like this: the contaminated extracted air is intensively rinsed with water; hazardous gases then accumulate in this water. The contaminant saturation is continuously monitored (pH-or guide value). When a limit is exceeded, the contaminated water is drained directly into the waste water or neutralized beforehand in the scrubber. If required, an external neutralisation system can be integrated below the fume cupboard. |
