It all started over 60 years ago early in 1946 Johann Köttermann founded the “Haushaltsbedarfs –und Beleuchtungskorper GmbH” in Hanigsen in Northern Germany. Soon the company began to specialize in fitting out pharmacies and laboratories and in making and marketing chemical equipment.
A lot has happened since then the small workshop has grown into industrial enterprise that ships its products all over the world. In the early 1970’s Köttermann was the first company in Germany to use Steel as basic material for its laboratory furniture. In the early 1990’s we launched our modular systemlabor and since then we have gone from strength to strength.
Today Köttermann is international company with a unique combination of traditional and modern management skills highly motivated and qualified personnel are your point of contact for systemlabor – in Germany, in our European subsidiaries (Austria, Belgium / Luxemburg, France, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdom) and our in Business partners world wide (Argentina, China, Italy, Malaysia / Singapore, Mexico, Philippines, Slovenia, India, Srilanka, Middle east countries and many other countries).
